We have an infinite ability to co-create sustainable and connected futures...What is key is our capacity to learn and adapt our leadership at the point at which we connect.  


We know increasingly that individual development alone may not deliver the full spectrum of learning and change that is critical to sustainable business success. The relationships that connect people, and the teams they form, are also necessary to achieve aspirational shifts in performance - helping address the challenges of:

  • Engagement around a clear and shared direction
  • Connecting effectively with stakeholders
  • Holding each other mutually accountable
  • Co-creating a climate of trust and encouragement
  • Responding proactively to new and shared insights
  • Operating according to sound, commercial principles  

I have developed this framework from the model defined  by Prof. Peter Hawkins in Leadership Team Coaching: Developing collective transformational leaders, and have subsequently integrated it with the following:   


the framework developed in Touchpoint Leadership: Creating collaborative energy across teams and organisations  (Kogan Page 2013) in which I illustrate how leadership emerges from deep personal insights, the capacity to connect, and the ability to engender a climate of trust

the systemic insights of Barry Oshry, whose work Seeing Systems: Unlocking the Mysteries of Organizational Life emphasises the criticality of connecting people vertically as well as laterally

and the leadership development framework defined by Bill Joiner and Stephen Josephs in Leadership Agility: Five Levels of Mastery for Anticipating and Initiating Change
